  2. Age Range: The applicant should be between 18 and 40 years old.
  3. Income Limit: The applicant’s monthly income should be less than ₹15,000.
  4. Employment Sector: The applicant should be an unorganized worker and not engaged in the organized sector or be a member of EPF, NPS, or ESIC.
  5. Non-Taxpayer: The applicant must not be an income taxpayer.

Benefits of a Labour Card

  1. Financial Assistance: Up to ₹60,000 for children’s higher education and up to ₹55,000 for a daughter’s marriage.
  2. Healthcare Support: Complete financial assistance for serious diseases.
  3. Maternity Benefits: Financial aid of ₹25,000 for the birth of a female child and ₹12,000 for a male child.
  4. Education and Scholarships: Free education and scholarships for children of labour card holders.
  5. Insurance: Free health insurance under various schemes.
  6. Skill Development: Assistance for skill improvement and purchasing work-related equipment.

Application Process

  1. Online Registration: Visit the official labour department website of your state.
  2. Create an Account: Click on “Register Now” or “Create New User” and provide your details such as name, email, and mobile number.
  3. Verification: Verify your email and mobile number using the OTP sent to you.
  4. Profile Update: After logging in, update your profile with a photo and signature.
  5. Submit Application: Complete the application form with necessary personal and employment details.
