📌 PSI Paper-2 (Descriptive) Rechecking Result 2026
The result of the Bin Hathiyari PSI Paper-2 (Descriptive) written examination was declared on 26 December 2025. After the result declaration, the Gujarat Police Recruitment Board invited applications for rechecking (re-evaluation).
- Total valid rechecking applications received: 1235
- Candidates with no change in marks after rechecking: 1216
- Candidates with revised marks after rechecking: 19
This confirms that the evaluation process was largely accurate, with only a small number of candidates seeing changes in their scores.
🎥 CCTV Verification & Disqualified Candidates
The written examination for PSI Paper-1 and Paper-2 was conducted on 13 April 2025 across multiple examination centers. After reviewing CCTV footage from the exam centers, the recruitment board identified cases of misconduct and irregularities.
- Total candidates disqualified after CCTV verification: 88
Candidates who have been declared disqualified and wish to submit a representation must do so in person at the Gujarat Police Recruitment Board office on or before 05 February 2026. Requests sent after the deadline or through other modes will not be accepted.
✅ PSI Document Verification – Qualified Candidates List
Based on the combined marks of Paper-1, Paper-2, and additional weightage marks (Sports quota, Widow category, NCC “C” Certificate, Ex-Servicemen, National Defence University, National Forensic Sciences University, etc.), the board has prepared the Document Verification Merit List.
- Total vacancies: 472
- Total candidates qualified for Document Verification: 1023
- Total candidates who qualified the written examination: 8679
Candidates must produce valid original certificates during document verification. Failure to submit valid proof for additional marks will lead to cancellation of those extra marks.
