Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged citizens to join and strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. He urged people to fly the national flag in their homes between August 13 and 15, this year, to commemorate the completion of 75 years of independence, which is being celebrated as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The government has also launched a website called harghartiranga.com/ to promote the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Indians can hoist the flag in their homes using the website. On the website, one can also virtually ‘Pin a Flag’ and post a ‘Selfie with Flag.’

The Prime Minister himself encouraged people to take part in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, tweeting, “This year, as we celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let us strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement.” Between the 13th and 15th of August, hoist the Tricolor or display it in your home. This movement will strengthen our bond with the national flag.”
