Mukhyamantri Gaumata Poshan Yojana 2026: The Government of Gujarat has launched the Mukhyamantri Gaumata Poshan Yojana to provide financial assistance to Gaushalas and Panjarapoles registered under the Public Trust Act. The scheme supports the maintenance and nutrition of cow and buffalo category animals during the October to December period.

Financial Assistance Details: Mukhyamantri Gaumata Poshan Yojana 2026

Under this scheme, eligible institutions will receive ₹30 per animal per day as maintenance assistance. The benefit is applicable only to cows and buffaloes. A maximum limit of 3,000 animals per institution has been fixed, and the assistance will be calculated on the basis of verified livestock records. Animals of any other category are not covered.

Only Gaushalas and Panjarapoles registered under the Public Trust Act are eligible to apply for benefits under this scheme. The objective is to ensure that assistance reaches legally registered and compliant institutions.

Multiple Branch Provision

If a single registered trust operates cattle shelters at more than one location, assistance can be claimed for animals kept at additional branches. Each branch must be located in a different village, have a separate survey number or land record, and be supported with valid documentary proof.

Scheme Duration

The financial assistance under this scheme is applicable for the months of October to December. The calculation of assistance is done on a per-animal, per-day basis.
