Gujarat government has today reported ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila utkarsh Yojana’, under which in excess of 10 lakh ladies will be given advance at zero percent financing cost. This Yojana will be sent off by State Boss Pastor Vijay Rupani on 17 September which is the birthday of State leader Narendra Modi. The State government has apportioned Rs. 175 crore spending plan for this plan.

The State government will sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with banks and bear interest of bank loan under this scheme. Stamp duty for loan under this scheme will be waived off.
One million women, active in as many as one lakh women groups (10 women in each women’s group) will be covered under this scheme.Each women’s group will get Rs. 1 lakh loan/finance through the government, cooperative, private banks and RBI approved finance companies.
50,000 women from rural and same number of women Mukhyamantri Mahila utkarsh Yojana from urban areas will be covered in this scheme. The scheme will be executed at rural side by Gujarat Livelihood Promotion company which works under Rural Development department of Gujarat government. In urban areas, the same scheme will be implemented by Gujarat Urban Livelihood Mission which functions under the Urban Development department of the State government.
