Duration of IARI Scholarship 2026
For M.Sc. Students
- Duration: 2 Years
- Extension: Up to 3 months (6 months for SC/ST/PC candidates)
For Ph.D. Students
- Duration: 3 Years
- Extension: Up to 6 months (1 year for SC/ST/PC candidates)
Scholarship is reviewed based on academic performance (OGPA)
IARI Scholarship 2026 Amount
M.Sc. Students
- ₹7,560 per month
- ₹6,000 per year contingency grant
Ph.D. Students
- ₹10,500 per month
- ₹10,000 per year contingency grant
The amount covers fees, study materials, research expenses, and tours
Academic Requirement
- Students must maintain minimum OGPA of 6.00
- For continuation of scholarship, OGPA 6.50 is required
- Performance is reviewed after each trimester
Eligibility Criteria
For M.Sc. / M.Tech Courses
- Must have completed Bachelor’s degree under:
- 10+2+4 OR
- 10+2+3 OR
- 10+1+4 system
For Ph.D. Courses
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent OGPA
- For SC/ST candidates: 55% marks
Equivalent OGPA accepted as per norms
Age Limit
- Minimum age for Ph.D.: 21 years
- Age calculated as on 31st July of admission year
